I always wondered if that was simply a style choice or if it actually meant something, like psychological damage, because there are a couple scenes that stand out because the blood shown is regular color.
iirc it was mostly due to censorship, but it helped with the game’s aesthetic. In the scenes where blood is red it’s usually because it’s old or dried blood.
Zom 100 does this correctly, preserving and enhancing the tone of the series.
I have a feeling that creators are taking the piss out on the Chinese censorship system.
