Weird pic to post in spring.
My two winter drink jams are Hot Toddies (with bourbon instead of brandy) and hot chocolate + Baileys + whipped cream vodka.
Mulled wine here. It’s delicious and it makes me feel medieval-fancy.
Please tell me you have a goblet to drink it out of.
Ooh I do mulled apple cider in the crock pot with cinnamon sticks, star anise, cloves, ginger, allspice, cardamom, nutmeg, and orange slices. Bottle of spiced rum on the side for those who want it. People really love it!
Is high fructose corn syrup seasonal?
Depending on what shape it’s pressed into, kind of lol.
Tis the season for floating stuff in drinks. Summer by contrast is the season for putting stuff on the glass of your drink.
Winter is time of the warm drinks. I’m not sure what a spring drink even would be.
I dunno but cool water is never out of season.
Elder blossom syrup?
What’s the top one with the lemons?
Some kind of dinner party punch/cocktail, I would imagine.
I’m fairly certain it’s potpourri which is not a drink. When you heat it up on a stove it’s meant to fill your house with its scent. “pot pourri” directly translates to “rotten pot” which I think is accurate because I’ve never been fond of the smell
A sort of orange cranberry spritzer
Mulled cider
Praise be the equinox.
I stay with drinks that go in all seasons, like vodka, whiskey or dark beer
Dark beer in the summer heat?
yep, nothing better than a few liters of dark beer with some friends on a summer evening
Pumpkin spice flavored beer is horrendous. Change my mind.
Beer is horrendous and imbibing alcohol is loser culture.
And why does anyone care about the flavor? Isn’t the point that it dulls your senses?
That’s an interesting take on the oldest drink in the world
Different strokes for different folks… more for me! 🎃🍺
I think I’m lacking some culture lmao.
hmmmm autumn my season and not really the best drinks but like the pumpkin spice
