The way I understand it is that a lot of jokes bank on ridiculous premises. And this one’s such an impossible, selfish demand that others stop an entire industry because it doesn’t fit one person’s lifestyle or preferences.
But it spoils the joke even more if one explains it and now I guess you’ll find it even less funny but I hope it helps anyway.
