I think Wikipedia would be fine for a topic where there’s a wide consensus on it and the “scholarly sources” are just Marxist equivalent of flat earth sites.

It worries me, how much these genocide denying authoritarian loving crazies try to spam their way into other communities by playing the victim

Of course they do. People today confuse most online arguments for people being knowlegable within their field with people being knowlegable on winning the same argument over and over.

That is why any debate over here is not to be taken seriously. Let the source hoarders have their fun, its not your game.

I think there may be a slight confusion. Of you want an economic revolution, by all means do it. I dont believe in communism but i do think trying it out wouldnt be such a bad idea. But i want to keep my personal property so not that kind of communism. But whe you start talking about how much you love stalin or what other dictator thats where i draw the line. The country youre idealizing killed tens of millions. Thats a tankie. A tankie is no better than a nazi. Both are genocidal fucks.

Wikipedia isnt perfect but it beats some rando stating their opinions as facts. One of the lemmy devs has recently built a federated wiki based on AP. Be the change you want to see and start populating it. :)

Because using „secret knowledge“ by writing one article or in a chatroom isnt really helping if the source can just be shut down.
