Have you tried the auto alt text generation baked into software like the latest Microsoft Office? It has some inaccuracies, but is getting better.
Sometimes I forget to write alt texts, but this was the first time I wrote one, and I’m happy because you could read it.
It was good for finding useful information online and doom scrolling, now it’s reached its EOL
