GNOME’s stance on user customization has been “users can do whatever they feel like using 3rd party tools
I’m aware of this however it’s something that worries me as it only works while that tool/extension is supported by GNOME. Chrome killed off a ton of extensions/add-ons recently. I as a user shouldn’t have to stuff standard functions into something by running an extension.
