I only play console games. Intentionally bought the disk version of the ps5. The only time i buy disks is when theyre cheaper, which only happens when im getting an older game. If theyre the same price, im going digital for the convenience

While there might be laws about prohibiting someone from changing lanes, by the time the officer gets there, there will be two stories, “he merged into me!” And “he wouldnt let me merge!” No way to prove that soneone prohibited a merge while the damage will still be caused by the person who changed lanes/merged and theyll be at fault.

The car changing lanes is at fault for any accident or damage, and can even be cited for an unsafe change even if they dont cause an accident.

Exactly. I dabble in competitive assessment and the amount of times weve got competitors data because they didnt flatten a file is astounding. The one we try every time with moderate success is checking every picture to see if you can “uncrop” it. So many times the rest of the picture is actually in the file and the crop is just for display purposes. Most of the time the rest of the photo is useless, but ill never forget the time we got the whole process map for their upcoming production schedule

I have to disagree with the group interview part. There are definite uses for it, especially when you work on something that absolutely demands collaboration. You can pretty quickly see who will dominate a discussion or try to do everything themselves, and who will give everyone a fair shake. If the company cares about their culture and not just raw talent, they can learn a lot from group interviews. It also helps if youre hiring A LOT of people.

My company hires 100+ college graduates every year. Group interviews are an essential part of the process. I still work with some of the people in my group interview from 15 years ago

I drive by a non-catholic christian church every day that has a giant digital sign out front of their building. Its a picture of a lady in a hijab and says, “Love they neighbor. No exception.” And id like to think that church has something figured out.

I recently (2 years) got into management against my better judgement. I dont do all this lingo bs and my team scores are always the highest. Its almost like if you treat your team like people, and peers, they respect you and WANT to work for you, thus being better employees.

I like how Hades did god mode, or at least how i remember it. When you turn it on, it didnt hardly do anything, but every time you died, you got -2% damage reduction, cumulative. So god mode was still tiered to your skill level, in a sense because the more you failed, the more help itd provide

I tried it right when i made the switch (when reddit pulled the plug on third party) and didnt care for it. Idk if I just didnt know lemmy and that confounded my problems… has it changed? Or maybe I’ve learned enough i should give it a go ago.

This is a regular argument in my house. My wife gets so upset that she has to repeat herself because i dont catch it the first time. Ive tried to tell her that she could even just start with “hey” or something to get my attention before she brings me into the conversation thats been going on in her head for 10 minutes already.
