There was a point where this would have been me. I’m now at a point where I’m like, fuck that, what does it cost for someone else to do it.

ADHD memes@lemmy.dbzer0.com•Stay away from the Reflecting Pool!English
51·16 days agoThey are suggesting ADHD people to be recruited to peel the remaining blue paint off the reflecting pool in DC. ADHD people tend to hyper focus on certain tasks and some tasks that are straight forward and monotonous tend to be soothing.
I would gladly go and do this free of charge to feel that sweet sweet satisfaction of peeling paint, and also destroying something Trump did.
Hey, copper prices are going up, that’s an investment!

World News@lemmy.world•Fifa asks fans mistakenly issued free World Cup tickets to re-buy at full priceEnglish
107·1 month agoJesus Christ they could have just said “60 lucky fans got free tickets due to our mess up, enjoy!” And gotten just the tiniest shred of good press about it. But no, they have to be complete fuck ups and ask for them to actually pay.

3·1 month agoFun fact, there is a horror book that takes place inside an Ikea like place. Horrorstor. I quite liked it.
The acting is really good, especially the mayor. The story feels a little disjointed at times but I really like it.
Mine would be reversed. I’m such a light weight

51·1 month agoWhile that is mostly true, I do have several USBC devices that refuse to charge with a name brand 65 watt charger I have, but they just love the cheap dollar store 5 watt versions.

Games@lemmy.world•PlayStation Console Owners Launch Class-Action Lawsuit Against Sony Over Tariff RefundsEnglish
511·2 months agoYes, but the issue here is if Sony sues the govt to get paid back the tariffs (that the consumer ultimately paid for) and then don’t pass that money back down to the customer.
Literally what it sounds like. Coffee shops where the baristas wear bikinis or lingerie. Like Hooters but usually skimpier.
I almost always buy physical first party games, regardless of platform. Having Zelda, God of War, Forza etc. on the shelf is just part of the identity and DNA of the system. I love each platform not because of the hardware, but the games behind the company. If it’s multiplatform/multiplayer focused, I tend to go digital/PC. Give me physical if your going to be a walled garden ecosystem for your platform!
